London, 13 March 2018:

On 26th and 27th September 2018 at Olympia London, ad:tech, Technology for Marketing and eCommerce Expo will combine to offer a single, irresistible event that will offer every level of business a one-stop shop resource for all their digital sales, marketing and advertising needs.

More than 11,000 brands, agencies, media owners and tech providers are expected to take part, in a programme of one-to-one meetings, multi-track conferences and social activities over two days.

The combination of these events is in line with the UK Government’s Digital Strategy, which sets out to promote the benefits of digital transformation for every business sector, including being able to effectively promote and sell their products and services online.

The document also goes on to highlight the importance of the data economy and how “…integral this is to the UK’s growth and future prosperity.”

‘Digital Britain’ is rightfully a key goal of the government and UK businesses are actively seeking ways to get ahead.

The combined ad:tech, TFM and eCommerce Expo events will enable attendees to learn from some of the finest minds in sales and marketing. Key speakers will include Julien Callede, Founder & COO, Made.com; Dr Christine Bailey, Chief Marketing Officer at Valitor; Neil Roberts, Head of Digital at Eurostar; Stuart Adamson, MD, Media & Partnerships at Thomas Cook; Sarah Davies, Strategic Partner Lead at Google; Nicola Millard, Head of Customer Insights and Futures at BT; and Craig Wheeler, COO at Scotts & Co Group.

Multi-award-winning global event organiser CloserStill Media recently acquired the TFM and eCommerce Expo brands, giving them a bold exciting new look and fresh, contemporary rebranding, expanding the eCommerce Expo brand into Asia with a Singapore launch this October, and taking over the running and marketing of ad:tech in the UK.

Iris Worldwide’s Mike Cornwell says of these newly co-located events: “As already evidenced in many marketing and technology applications, across the spectrum of organisations digital transformation requirements, everything is now joining up in mapping, tracking and measuring behavioural and transactional outcomes across the varied touchpoints and customer experiences of brands.”

Mike goes on to say, regarding the exciting conference streams: “Having speakers from across the spectrum of the industry also helps those feeling siloed to see and hear the bigger picture – potentially giving them ideas to adapt and innovate, or to partner for mutual benefit, themselves and gain their own competitive advantage. Survival of the fittest springs to mind!”

Guest speaker Neil Roberts, Head of Digital at Eurostar, adds: “Bringing together the three events is a really positive move. It makes it much easier to get exposure to neighbouring fields and can only help build awareness of how we all need to work closer together to improve the experience for customers.”

The exhibitor line up already boasts, amongst others, Dotmailer, Lead Forensics, Workbook, Adestra, Zoho, Conversant, Brightpearl, Emarsys, Royal Mail, Avalara, Shopware, Global-e and Oracle Bronto.

Josie Scotchmer, Marketing Manager EMEA at Oracle Bronto, says: “At Oracle Bronto, we see eCommerce Expo UK as the leading ecommerce event. The teams at both CloserStill Media and IMRG understand the key challenges for retailers but also the needs of ecommerce tech providers, like ourselves. I have no doubt that with the CloserStill and IMRG team, the event in London will be a key calendar event for retailers and technology solutions alike.”

And Roger Morris, Head of Royal Mail Parcels, comments: “eCommerce Expo has always been hugely valuable for Royal Mail. We get to meet with key retailers and senior decision makers and the event gives us an opportunity to discuss about our latest UK and International parcel developments. This year is set to be even bigger and we once again very much look forward to being a part of it this year.”

And dotmailer’s Strategy & Insight Director, Skip Fidura had this to say about having a company presence at Technology For Marketing: “Exhibiting at TFM gives us a powerful platform for meeting new customers, reaching out to our existing customers. The people who attend TFM tend to be motivated, interested in our products and services. The addition of ad:tech presents a great opportunity for us to meet even more high quality marketers. We are really excited about being a part of this reinvigorated event in 2018.”

It’s quite simply an unrivalled UK event and one of the biggest of its kind anywhere in Europe – a single, sweeping, comprehensive gathering of decision makers and experts for the advertising technology, marketing technology and ecommerce world.
