Chris joined the Exchange Lab as Executive Chairman in 2014 before taking on the CEO role at the end of 2015. Chris started his career on the client side (Land Rover International) and was a senior leader at the forefront of the development of next generation global media spanning television (ITV UK and MTV Europe), digital technology driven media (Microsoft Global) and multi-screen cross platform content monetisation (BBC Worldwide). Having moved into digital in 2001, Chris pioneered the strategy that was to indicate the future importance of social media through the monetisation of the data driven Microsoft MSN Messenger product. Chris was pivotal in the acquisition of the Exchange Lab by WPP in 2015 and has steered the resultant increased investment in the platform to create a data led, future proof technology that partnered with the culture and specialist skill set that is central to The Exchange lab’s DNA delivers the maximisation of business relevant ROI for its customers.
