John Readman

Commercial Director, Productcaster
John joined the Summit team in January 2017, bringing with him 20 years of technology and marketing agency sales and marketing leadership experience. In recent years he significantly grew both Communicator Corp (email service provider) and Search Laboratory (multilingual SEO and PPC agency). After exiting Search Laboratory, John took the opportunity to follow his passion for charity and cycling and set up the industry-leading cycling adventure business, Ride25 (as featured on BBC’s Dragon’s Den).
John has a BSc from Nottingham University and whilst at uni he spent most of his time playing rugby and flying with the RAF UAS (or in the bar!).
At Search Laboratory, John grew the business from a small regional agency to a significant global player, opening up offices in London and New York. John scaled the business from 10 staff to over 150 during his 4 years, signing up many household name leading eCommerce brands.
John has known Summit and the senior team for many years. When the opportunity came up to join the team he grabbed it with both hands and believes Summit has the best proposition for medium to large scale eCommerce clients on the market. He gets particularly excited about Productcaster and Forecaster!
